A ministry in China has taken me off Layton and given me wings to the world. I have had a ministry to China since 2000 when I first taught English camp in southeast China. In 2001-02 I spent a year teaching spoken English in a public high school in Fuzhou, China. I have returned to China six times since then to work in an orphanage. For six years, my trips to China occurred every Friday morning at 7:00 a.m. when we would broadcast live on Blog Talk Radio into China. Our radio program is called "The Voice of Hope." The show was always translated into Mandarin, and it is still accessible.
C. Hope Flinchbaugh, author of Daughter of China, Across the China Sky, and I'll Cross the River, invited me to join her editorial services business. Our team offered a variety of editing services to our clients.
It has been a joy to lead a women's Bible study in my church, Parker Hill Community and LCBC, since 2003.
As a grandmother to Wyatt, Ben, Anna, Maverick, Claire, and Kassadee, I have ongoing excitement and unbounded joy.
